Kathryn is a History Instructor with Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to teaching, Kathryn works with various projects throughout the region promoting community awareness and advocacy, such as a Day of Awareness – Human Trafficking, The Joe Bonham Project, and the CPCC World Experience Arts Festival event. As if that’s not enough of a full plate, she collaborates and hosts oral history projects and learning opportunities, contributing to local scholarship. Kathryn is an adventuress at heart and stays active with her family through hiking, biking, and kayaking. Kathryn plans to get her motorcycle license in early Spring and ride with us on the New York Historical Route of the SCMR2020.
