Women's Motorcycle Conference Arlington, VA August 19-22, 2021

This is the first LIVE Women’s Motorcycle Festival and Conference hosted by Alisa Clickenger and Women’s Motorcycle Tours. Thursday begins it all: the Women in Powersports Professional Development in the morning, and the arrival of the cross-country Centennial riders in the afternoon. Friday is the General Session (education) and evening connection session. Saturday begins the weekend Outdoor Motorcycle and Festival, starting with the historical Parade through Washington, D.C. Saturday and Sunday Indian Motorcycle, Polaris Slingshot, and Harley-Davidson will be offering demo rides, which are also open to the public, and there will be games, activities, MOTUL’s oil change pod for on-the-spot oil changes, as well as food trucks and fun!

There are multiple registration options. There is an “everything” ticket which includes many meals, all entertainment, four days at the 2021 Women’s Motorcycle Festival and Conference (both indoor and outdoor events), the group parade through Washington, D.C., the group photo, plus the closing ceremony dinner. There are also a-la-carte tickets in which you pay for just what you want to participate in.

Ticket prices go up August 1, so book now and risk-free: all tickets are refundable up to 30 days before the event.

A two-wheeled world traveler, author, coach and event producer, Alisa is founder of Women’s Motorcycle Tours and the Women’s Motorcycle Conferences. Alisa is also the author of Boost Your Confidence Through Motorcycling: A Woman’s Guide to Being Your Best Self on and Off the Bike, which became an Amazon bestseller. Alisa was named a 2019 Dealernews Top 100 People in Powersports and Alisa is also on the WomenRidersNow.com Leadership Board. Always working on innovative ways to get new riders to fall in love with motorcycling, Alisa’s personal mission is to inform, educate and support motorcycle riders globally.

In her current role as Senior Marketing Manager, Customer Growth, Joey brings her excitement for riding to women and diverse riders through her work to increase representation, inclusion and participation of women in powersport
8:15 AM – 8:55 AM Collett Mazula, Head of Marketing for Polaris Slingshot  Collett has grown up riding snowmobiles her whole life, which gave her a passion and enthusiasm for getting outdoors. When she joined Polaris 8 years ago, she was able to extend that enthusiasm into both motorcycles and Slingshot. Through her work on Polaris Slingshot, Collett’s been able to grow not only the brand, but to amplify it’s approachability and inclusivity so that everyone can experience what it’s like to be on the open road.
9:00 AM – 9:40 AM Kirsten Midura, Founder of Engines for Change Revvoluntionary: Motorcyclists Who Are Changing the World Continuing from the April 2020 Women’s Motorcycle Conference, this presentation will celebrate the heroes of the motorcycle world who use their bikes as tools for social justice, international development, and environmental change. It will also show people ways to get involved in their own activism work.

1:50 PM – 2:30 PM Alisa Clickenger, Leader – Women’s Motorcycle Tours Gearing Up for a Big Trip Alisa transformed herself from a shy housewife into a bold motorcycle adventuress who has had many solo adventures around the world. She now leads women’s motorcycle tours all over the globe, and will share her advice on mental preparation, packing, and staying safe on the road as a female traveler.
2:35 PM – 3:20 PM Tina McDermott, Personal Trainer, Inspirational Chef, Speaker & Weight Loss Coach FIT TO RIDE – It All Starts With A Stretch, A Bit of Balancing and A Lot of Core Riding is the ultimate high. Full of freedom and the open road and the best way to enjoy that ride is to be fit, have a strong core and have balance. Fitness allows you to ride longer in the saddle, maneuver your bike easier and ride sleeker through the curves of the road. Join Tina in This session and learn some simple stretches, balance, and core exercises that give you long, lean muscles and make you feel amazingly sexy in the saddle.

Karen will weave their stories with her own and she takes you through the incredible accomplishments of these amazing modern trailblazers.

5:05 PM – 5:45 PM Jessica Kubalek, Senior Platform Manager, Indian Motorcycle Jessica joined the Indian Motorcycle team 7 years ago to lead engineering development projects for new and updated models. She brought with her 15 years of OEM vehicle experience. Her work has focused on the midsize cruiser segment and approachability to bring more people into the Indian Motorcycle family.
