From the FAQ:

Q: You say it’s a non-political event but 2020 is an election year. How do you plan on making it non-political?

A: Excellent Question! All along the way we’ve made small and large organizational choices in order to keep steering the event away from any partisan anything and we’ll keep doing so. We’ve declined politicians who’ve indicated they want to join, we make everyone agree on the registration form and in our Terms and Conditions that the event is non-political and that you cannot wear any political branding, and we’ve created our own Grand Finale Extravaganza Experience in Washington, D.C. so we can set the tone for ourselves. There’s already enough going on to pull us apart in the outside world. In our event, we want to create and celebrate unity, upliftment, and the sisterhood of the road. Anyone who violates that will be asked to leave and no refunds will be given.
